When a 6 seater makes sense
A saloon car is licensed for four passengers, so the moment a fifth person joins the trip you need a larger vehicle. Booking one 6 seater is usually simpler and better value than two saloons, and everyone arrives together.
It is also the right choice for four people with lots of luggage. A family of four heading off on a fortnight's holiday, with two large suitcases each, a pushchair and cabin bags, will fill a saloon boot very quickly.
Space inside
Our 6 seater people carriers have individual seats, so nobody is squeezed into the middle of a bench. Sliding rear doors make getting in and out easy on narrow Kingston streets, and they are ideal for fitting child seats. Tell us the ages of any children when you book and we will fit child seats on request.
As a guide, with six passengers on board there is room for about four large suitcases and four cabin bags. If you are carrying bulky items such as golf bags, skis or a wheelchair, tell us so we can check they fit, or suggest our 7 seater taxi, which has more space.
