Heading west from Paddington
Paddington is the terminus of the Great Western Main Line. Great Western Railway trains run to Reading, Oxford, Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and Swansea, and down through Exeter and Plymouth to Penzance in Cornwall. The Elizabeth line also passes through, linking Paddington with the West End, the City and Canary Wharf, and the Heathrow Express runs non-stop to the airport.
The station is famous for its Victorian iron and glass roof by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, and for the statue of Paddington Bear on the concourse.
The route from Kingston
Paddington is on the western side of central London, so it is quicker to reach from Kingston than the northern termini. Our driver usually heads north from Kingston through Richmond Park or Roehampton, crosses the river at Putney, and continues through Fulham and Kensington to the station. The drive is typically 45 minutes to an hour.

Paddington and Heathrow
Some customers ask whether they should take a taxi to Paddington and then the Heathrow Express. From Kingston, the answer is almost always no. Heathrow is much closer to us than Paddington, and a direct Heathrow airport taxi is faster. Coming the other way, if you land at Heathrow and have a meeting near Paddington, we can take you straight there.
