Carshalton's village centre
At the heart of Carshalton are the Ponds, fed by springs that form one of the sources of the River Wandle. Around them are the village's historic buildings, including Honeywood Museum and All Saints Church. Carshalton Park, the Grove and Little Holland House, a small Arts and Crafts house, are all close by.
From Norbiton we drive through Cheam and Sutton, typically in 25 to 35 minutes. We cover the whole of SM5: the village, Carshalton Beeches, Carshalton on the Hill, the St Helier estate and the roads towards Wallington and Hackbridge.
Two stations
Carshalton station, near the Ponds, and Carshalton Beeches station, to the south, both have Southern trains into Victoria and London Bridge. Carshalton station also has Thameslink services. Both stations have stairs, so a taxi is a practical choice with luggage or a pushchair.
St Helier Hospital
St Helier Hospital, on Wrythe Lane, serves much of the local area. We take patients to appointments, collect them after discharge and run visitors in the evenings. If you are leaving hospital with a walking aid or heavy bags, tell us when booking and we will send a suitable car.

The Oaks Park, south of Carshalton Beeches, is a quiet green space with a cafe. Its name comes from the historic Oaks estate, which gave its name to the famous horse race at nearby Epsom.
