Matching the car to the journey
The most common booking mistake is choosing a car for the number of people and forgetting the luggage. Four adults fit in a saloon, but four adults with four large suitcases will not. Use the guide below, and if you are unsure, call us on 020 3740 5346 with your passenger and bag count.
For airport runs, remember that pushchairs, car seats and golf bags all take boot space. Families of four flying long-haul often find an estate or a 6 seater taxi more comfortable. Larger groups heading to Heathrow or Gatwick together usually save money in one 7 seater taxi compared with two cars.
Saloon
A comfortable four-door saloon for up to four passengers. It is the car most of our customers ride in for local journeys, school pick-ups and airport runs with standard luggage.
Ideal for trips to Kingston town centre, Wimbledon or Norbiton station, and for one or two people flying with checked bags.

A larger, quieter car with more rear legroom, for journeys where comfort and first impressions matter. Please ask about availability when you book.

6 Seater MPV
A people carrier with individual seats for up to six passengers and a proper luggage area behind the last row.
Sliding doors and higher seats make it easy to load children and fit child seats. Luggage space stays useful even when every seat is taken.

7/8 Seater MPV
Our largest vehicle carries seven or eight passengers. With every seat filled the luggage space is smaller, so tell us what you are bringing and we will check it fits.
Good for wedding guests, sports teams and multi-family trips to the airport. One vehicle keeps the group together and arriving at the same time.

Passenger and luggage figures are a typical guide. Large case means a checked-in suitcase of about 23 kg; hand luggage means a cabin bag.

You can choose the vehicle type when you book. We cannot guarantee a particular make or model, but the car will match the class you booked.
Which car fits five passengers?
Book a 6 seater MPV. A saloon or estate is limited to four passengers by law.
Do all cars take child seats?
Yes, child seats can be fitted in all our vehicle types on request.
Is the executive car always available?
Executive cars are limited, so please book early and we will confirm availability.
