Who we are
Norbiton Cabs, also known to many regulars as Norbiton Cars, is a private hire firm serving Norbiton, Kingston upon Thames and the surrounding boroughs. Our office is on Norbiton Avenue, a short walk from Norbiton station and Kingston Hospital, which is why so much of our day is spent on London Road, Cambridge Road and Kingston Hill.
We are not a national app or a booking broker. When you call, you speak to people who plan the journeys, and the cars that turn up are dispatched by the same office. That keeps things personal and means we can deal with the details that matter: a late flight, an extra suitcase or a child seat for a toddler.
What we do
Airport transfers are the heart of our work. Heathrow is on our doorstep, and we drive to Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and London City every day. Many customers use us for trains, too, booking a car to Waterloo station or across London to the northern termini.
Closer to home, we run regular school run journeys during term time, collect guests for local hotels through our hotel transfer taxi service, and carry pets whose owners do not drive. Our full list of neighbourhoods is on the areas we cover page.
How we work
- Fixed fares. You are told the price when you book, and that is the price for the journey you booked.
- Open all hours. The office and drivers work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Flight tracking. For airport collections we check the landing time and adjust your pick-up.
- Meet and greet. Your driver can wait in arrivals with a name board.
- Child seats on request. Tell us the child's age and we fit a suitable seat.
- Card or cash. Pay whichever way suits you.
Our vehicles
